I put six speakers in a 20 x 26 room and these fill the entire space. I researched many different brands before settling on the Yamahas and I couldn't be happier. They have very clear sound and work great as surround speakers in my new family room. Maybe an extreme audiophile would be able to find some faults with these but I think they are a tremendous speaker for the price. Installation wasn't difficult and after the first one went extremely fast. I had the drywall workers cut the holes while they were hanging the new board but Yamaha includes a template so don't think install would be too difficult in existing room. I am using 4 of them for a surround sound and they sound great. These speakers sound great, if you can build boxes in the ceiling to put the speakers in it really helps the sound quality and also increases the bass that these speakers can produce.
